Nice one Kenny - with you on this! My jump from rat race was April '22. Loving it, but it's a crapload of work. :)

Thank you, David! How do you feel now a year and a half after? Have you tamed the workload more than at the beginning?

Yes... and... No.

A fascinating aspect of the 'Creator Economy' is that there's always a new platform, new channel, new article or otherwise to be learned (and sometimes unlearned).

I'm feeling, I'm getting better at working one piece of writing across multiple platforms in many different ways. They're all different. LinkedIn, for example, is very different from Facebook. Takes some thinking and shifting between each.

Great stuff, Alami! I jumped the fence in 2015, and after 7 years, I’m seriously considering returning to full-time. The reason: it’ll leave more time to work on my small bets.

This is often the other way around (people quit full-time to work on side projects), but I found the opposite to be true.

I’ll be writing about this next week in my newsletter.

Looking forward to it!

Full-time usually has strong boundaries because it’s 9 to 5 whereas everything is out in the open when self-employed. And there’s only one person that can enforce them! Also, we need to take on the work that other people in a company would do like finding new clients, scoping, etc.

Very curious about your take on all of that!
